A client who loves to travel and wants to bring it all home? For a designer who loves to weave the world in her designs, this was a match made in heaven! This project took us from Marrakesh to Mumbai, and seamlessly married contemporary with culture.

During our ‘Story Meeting’, we learned that Client Globe Trotter’s favorite place in the world was Marrakesh, and Majorelle Gardens held a special space in their hearts. But they also loved splashes of color and they wanted to bring in their heritage into their home - they just didn’t know how to incorporate it all into a clean, modern setting.

And of course, how do you create a stylish home that’s also comfortable and fun for your kids with plenty of storage, without worrying about them destroying the furniture? You leave it to us to come up with a functional plan, fabulous storage opportunities and make it all look stunning! Between plaster and wood slats, marble and a carved door imported from Morocco, a full reconfiguration of a Powder Room and curves everywhere, this project was both very challenging and extremely satisfying! And we were thrilled when it all came together…
