The Doctor had a dream. And it wasn't a small one. No. It was huge and a little bit crazy. He aspired to change the world - by changing healthcare. Everywhere he looked, people were getting sicker and sadder, and our healthcare system only made things worse. He vowed to help people change, by looking inside themselves, by changing their minds and in turn, changing their bodies.

He already was doing his part, mind you. He had a great gig on the faculty of a prestigious academic medical center in the South. He loved what he did and was making a difference through his role as a psychologist, one person at a time. And, had he kept it that way. life would have been a LOT simpler. But he couldn't.

Falling in love with the doctor made the big city girl move to a small town (the gorgeous Charleston, SC) There, they concocted a brilliant plan that made both their dreams come true - to fill women's hands with what they loved (beautiful handbags) and at the same time, inspire them to take care of themselves by looking inside. And through their work, the Designer and the Doctor would contribute to mental healthcare in the community.

She was a rebel looking for a cause. He had the cause that lit a fire underneath her. Together they decided they were going to change the world - one handbag at a time!
